Founded in 1952, ACA is the world's largest association exclusively representing professional counselors in various practice settings.

National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC)

The National Board for Certified Counselors, Inc. and Affiliates (NBCC) is the premier credentialing body for counselors, ensuring that counselors who become board certified have achieved the highest standard of practice through education, examination, supervision, experience, and ethical guidelines.

Christian Association for Psychological Studies  (CAPS)

CAPS encourages in depth consideration of therapeutic, research, theoretical and theological issues. The association is a forum for creative new ideas. In fact, our publications and conferences are the birthplace for many of the formative concepts in our field today.

Society for Christian Psychology

 The Society exists to promote the development of a distinctly Christian psychology (including theory, research, and practice) that is based on a Christian understanding of human nature.
